Congratulations to Alex Bushnik, the Spring 2026 r Congratulations to Alex Bushnik, the Spring 2026 recipient of the Jerome Ackerman Endowed Internship @alfredceramicartmuseum! Alex is a junior in the School of Art and Design, having transferred from Manchester Community College in Connecticut. He is a passionate student of ceramics, creating both figurative sculpture and functional ware and is drawn to teapots for the diverse possibilities of the form. Alex plans on becoming a teacher and believes that this internship will not only provide insights into the inner workings of the museum structure but expand his creative horizons by exposing him to so many examples of ceramic art from the ACAM collection.
