Celebrating Jerome Ackerman's birthday with an inv Celebrating Jerome Ackerman's birthday with an invitation from @waynestate. The College of Fine, Performing, and Communication Arts has opened up the Evelyn and Jerome Ackerman Endowed Scholarship for art and design undergraduates @waynestatecfpca to contributions. This scholarship has honored the legacy of the Ackermans, Detroit natives, since 2020 on what would have been his 100th birthday. So many talented students have benefitted from this support and we are thrilled that it will continue in perpetuity. Truly paying it forward in a time when the arts are more important than ever.
